But seriously ladies, don’t you think your guy deserves to see you looking this hot? This bride-to-be made a beautiful album for her lucky groom. I’m positive he already knew how beautiful she was, but now she definitely knows it too. I just loved getting to do her photos because she was so quick to open up and be her true self. I don’t care about perfect curves or flat tummies, just be open and willing to be a little vulnerable and I will get the best photos you’ve ever seen!

Creative Portland Engagement Photographers

I found out that somebody has a habit of sneaking into the soaking pool at Edgefield… I won’t say who, but it gave me the idea to do our whole shoot there and then end in the soaking pool with the entire family. I love it because its so personal and perfect for these two. They live just a couple of miles from Edgefield and spend a lot of time hanging out there with their kids.

Sheila and Luke exchanged vows in the beautiful sunlit Holy Trinity Catholic church in Beaverton. Sheila wore an adorable vintage dress altered to be tea length and Luke was his dapper self in a tux and bow tie! After their morning ceremony, the bridal party piled into a limo for a fun 4 hour wedding day excursion in downtown Portland.

Laura’s grandpa started Gifford’s Flower Shop in 1938 in downtown Portland, just a few blocks from my studio! Her dad put up their gorgeous hop altar arrangement that was full of beautiful local blooms. They also used plenty of moss and ferns for that authentic NW feel.
