Now that we’re in mid-winter here in Portland I thought it would be a perfect time to bust out a gorgeous fall engagement session to remind us of all the vibrant colors and long warm nights we had. Isn’t that nice? (Really I’m just slow and got behind on my blog because I was too busy enjoying Christmas, shhh)
Marisa and Adam are pretty cool people. I like them anyway. 🙂 They spent the afternoon wine tasting and I joined them at the last vineyard, Vista Hills Vineyard in Dayton, Oregon. If you’ve never been up there, I highly recommend it! The wine is wonderful of course, and the views are stunning! They are a wedding venue and are also kind enough to let wine lovers like these two use the property for engagement sessions!
We started off in the barrel room with their last bit of wine and then headed out to the beautiful forest area that’s just outside the wine tasting room. I don’t know exactly how much wine these two had before I showed up, but definitely enough to skip around and have a good time together! I also love the shot towards the end of the post where they’re trying to do “serious face” for the camera. It didn’t work out but I like “trying not to crack up” face better anyway.
Thanks so much Marisa and Adam – can’t wait for the wedding!
