Oh Brittany and Michael… not only are you impossibly adorable, you both have incredible taste! This Catholic wedding was an absolute stunner. The bride and groom both got ready at her parent’s home on the Columbia river. It was a perfect backdrop for all of their gorgeous details. I loved Brittany’s wedding dress blowing in the wind, the guys with their cocktails on the balcony, and of course their first look on the gangway. After all of the preparation, we headed over to Saint Joseph Catholic Church for their wedding ceremony. What a gorgeous church! And yes, it was an hour and half mass, but it was so personal and beautiful, I don’t think anyone minded. I love getting to be at weddings where God is so present. I was holding back tears, and I’ve only known these two for a year!
For their wedding reception, we made our way to the gorgeous Empress Estate in Woodland. What a beautiful wedding venue! The grounds are impeccable and the ballroom is perfect! And oh my gosh, check out the agate table numbers and glass cocktail menu! They also had a great area for the bride and groom to rest for a bit upstairs before the festivities began. And then there were teary eyed toasts, a gorgeous first dance complete with a big dip at the end, and my favorite – sparklers!! Its true that lots of couples do sparklers for their exit, but that’s because its just such a good choice. It really never gets old.
This wedding was a 12 hour day but I loved every minute of it! I’m so happy for these two. I know they will have an amazing marriage and impossibly adorable children!
Big thank you to Mun Li for second shooting and Andrea at Wandera for making sure everything went perfect!
