I’ve said it before and I know I’ll say it again, but seriously guys. I freakin love my job. Seriously, like half of the photoshoot is just me getting to hear all about women’s lives as they get pampered in the makeup chair by one of my wonderful makeup artists. In this case, Bri Ellis of Portland Makeup & Hair was responsible for this stunning makeover. This is one of the many reasons that I include professional hair and makeup with every boudoir photoshoot. By the time I’m actually getting out my camera, we’re all pretty much besties. 🙂 Getting to know each woman makes it so much easier for me to really understand and capture their true personality and beauty. I also love getting to hear all of the different reasons women come to me for a glamorous photoshoot. In this case, she had lost a significant amount of a weight and had always wanted to do a shoot like this. What better time than now? Sometimes its for a birthday or Christmas present (right around the corner ladies). Of course a boudoir shoot is a nearly perfect wedding gift for the groom (assuming its from the bride and not a stalker ex girlfriend – but who am I to judge?)
