They got married at the Ponzi Historic Estate in Beaverton and then had their gorgeous reception at the new Ponzi Winery in Sherwood. Wow, if you haven’t been to their new winery, you really need to visit. I love all of the concrete and modern architecture – what a perfect place to host a wedding reception.
But the best part would have to be the dance floor. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much dancing fury as I saw that night. There were dirty dancing reenactments, giant wigs, a flying groom… entertainment for all!
After 3 hours of the most high energy wedding dancing I’ve ever seen, Sarah and Eric made their getaway in a helicopter! And it was AWESOME!
By the way, are you seeing this wedding venue? I think Belle Gardens is one of the reasons we have Pinterest. This is like the original Pinterest wedding venue – back when you had to cut photos out of magazines for inspiration! This Victorian wedding venue is run by a husband and wife who live on site. They absolutely love what they do and put their whole hearts into every wedding! They are also very dedicated to creating little photo op vignettes all around the property! There’s no possible way to even photograph it all in one day!
I’ve definitely learned the secret to having a great wedding: Surround yourself with people you love and let everything else go! I can easily say that Aubrey and Nathan did just that.
Their wedding was vibrant and beautiful with blue, purple, pink and orange hues. The bride worked with her florists of Celebration Floral to come up with a gorgeous new design of floral trees for the ceremony and reception. Celebration has even named this after her, you can also request to have “The Aubrey” at your wedding!
I love it when I get to photograph bridal beauty portraits for my brides! Anna and Jacob just got married two weeks ago and Anna made a 6×6 boudoir album for her man.
