I had no idea when I asked my dad to photograph my wedding that I would be doing the same for him six years later… And here we are – I’m a wedding photographer and my dad got married!
Last month Crystal and Tod joined our families by tying the knot at the Steilacoom town hall. Now I not only have a brand new baby sister but also a 7 year old brother and 3 year old sister too! (Plus the other brother and sister that I already had) The day was all about celebrating with family. The ceremony and reception were were full of hugs, kisses and tears – my dad’s twin cousin Tim married them and they celebrated by blending two wines together that another cousin – Patrick of Dominio IV – created. And make sure you look for my Grandma doing the twist with my dad – best mother/son dance ever!
Also, the day and location were gorgeous! Somehow we had a sunny day in April (very different from my freak thunderstorm wedding in July) We got to walk around historic Steilacoom and sneak a peek at the Puget Sound. I couldn’t be happier for my dad and Crystal – I wish them a lifetime of happiness and joy!
Special thanks to Bethany Blair for getting all of the shots that I couldn’t!
