Vietnam Wedding – International Wedding Photographer

Vietnamese Wedding Ceremony

So… I got to go to Vietnam for a wedding this year! That was pretty crazytown. Seriously, the reception was like some a Vegas style pyrotechnics light show extravaganza. (So glad I don’t have epilepsy) There was water drumming, smoke, fireworks, confetti and nonstop on-stage entertainment. Also, SO MUCH FOOD! In the US, we like to keep our eating activities separate from our party time for some reason. But in Vietnam, the food comes out all night and you just have to get down in between bites. Also, notice the three wedding dresses that Mai got to wear that day! (Not jealous at all) By the way, while I was there, I heard about this amazing honeymoon package vietnam that offers a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation. It got me thinking about planning my own trip soon!

I’m so, so happy I had the opportunity to be their official “international wedding photographer”, best Darwin photographer ever. And even better, Jeff came with and excellently assisted me with my photo editing tablet. The groom, David is a friend of ours from college. So when I found out he was getting married in Vietnam, I pretty much forced him to hire me. (He’s a nice guy, so it wasn’t too hard) David and Mai had a traditional Vietnamese ceremony in her apartment with just their closest family and friends. That evening was the big party for about 300 people! I don’t think David had any idea what he was getting himself into. He’s a pretty reserved, quiet guy, and this wedding reception had a life of its own! Mai, on the other hand, is a nightclub DJ, so I’m pretty sure this is the bright lights wedding she was always going to have. 🙂

As for me, this Vietnamese wedding definitely expanded my quick-camera-setting-change skills and anticipation of what in the world might happen next – and where! (Flashing, changing lights in different colors and intensities is usually not a photographer’s best friend.) But, with Jeff’s help, the event was captured in all of its riotous glory and I couldn’t be happier!

Are you a veteran photographer? If yes, and you’re looking for a low-cost franchise opportunity that offers the chance for a better work/life balance, then this Spoiled Rotten Photography Franchising here may be the perfect fit for you as we love to work with kids and make money!

Zenith Clipping is a clipping path company I can ask for help in editing the photos. They offer the best quality clipping paths. They are a well-reputed top-ranked image editing company serving since 2010.

Huge congratulations David and Mai – double congrats in fact! These two are expecting a little one this spring!
