Wow, it was so much fun being a part of this special wedding! Karla and Joe were high school sweethearts. As teenagers, these two were madly in love, but life took them in different directions. Thirty years later, Karla has three wonderful children and Joe has a thriving singing career in Nashville. Their paths have crossed again but this time they’re going to make sure they keep going in the same direction!

Seeing them together, I think they picked up right where they left off. Joe couldn’t keep his eyes off of his new wife and Karla was so happy she just had a huge wedding day perma-grin!

The best part is that Karla held onto the dainty gold promise ring that Joe had given her three decades ago and now he has made good on that promise. But to actually seal the deal, he also bought his bride a “big ass wedding ring.” (Karla’s words, not mine!) I am so, so happy for these two newlyweds!

The bride and groom were married at the White House in Coeur d Alene – a gorgeous outdoor/indoor venue just a few blocks from the lake. Karla walked down the aisle with her father on one arm and a gorgeous stargazer lily bouquet on the other. They opened the reception with a surprise duet – the same song that Joe proposed to Karla with! The rest of the wedding reception was a little bit like a big high school reunion party!
