Welcome to Erica Ann Photography and Fine Art! Professional Portland portrait photographers are often expected to simply pose their subjects. And while that strictly traditional approach may work for some, I have found that most people want more than cookie-cutter portrait photography. I believe that great portrait photography happens when everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves. So it's no wonder that I love being one of Portland's journalistic portrait photographers.
As your Oregon portrait photographer, capturing your unique personality is only the beginning. How those images are transfered to physical media is all up to you. Using the best shots of your portland portraits, I create a custom album that you will love to show off to everyone you can. My real specialty is taking your favorite portrait photographs and putting them on canvas. I can print them on, paint them on, or both - it's up to you. I'm not just another Portland portrait photographer.
Photojournalistic Family Portrait Photographer
Kids and families are my favorite! I offer maternity, newborn, baby, child and family photoshoots. The sessions can be at your house, my house, a local park or wherever you think your child will be most comfortable. I love doing individual sessions but I'm also really excited about the Baby's First Year Album!
Baby's First Year Album
Throughout your child's first year, we will get together several times to document his/her journey through life. Each session is 1-2 hours and will take place in your home or the location of your choice. At the end of your child's first year we will put together a beautiful album that you will cherish forever! The premium package includes six sessions: maternity, newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 1 year. For $2000 you will receive a beautiful custom 9" x 9" flush mount album, an online proof site and $150 print credit. The standard package comes with four sessions: maternity, newborn, 6 month and 1 year. For $1000 you will receive a 10" x 10" photo cover coffee table album and $100 credit toward prints.

Artistic Senior / Graduate Photographer
High school or college senior photography is a great way to celebrate your graduation! Each session is specially designed just for you. If you want have a high energy funky urban shoot or a low key natural session in the forest or by a creek we will make it happen. You can dance in the rain or frolic on the beach. I know of so many great locations in Newberg and Portland, Oregon.
This is not a one-size-fits-all, tilt-your-head-and-give-me-a-fake-smile kind of photoshoot. I am YOUR graduate photographer. Sessions last 3-4 hours so bring a good variety of clothes and lots of ideas so you can end up with perfect graduate photography! $450 includes a 8" x 8" Coffee Table Album or $200 product credit. Full Resolution DVDs may be purchased for $495 and individual images may be purchased for $50/each.
Custom Portrait Albums
Canvas Cover Watercolor
These albums are flush mount with thick lay-flat pages and no middle gutter. The inside pages are printed on either Art Watercolor, Art Linen, Art Recycled, Satin UV, or Pearl UV press paper and adhered to heavy black cardstock. This allows each spread to lay flat with a thick and rigid look and feel. Pages are printed as full spreads and not cut so imagery and design elements are not lost in the center of the book!
Flush Mount Style
The Flush Mount Album is perfect for remembering your newberg portrait photography. The acrylic photo cover makes it especially customizable. The prints are bound by Renaissance Albums in Port Chester, New York after being printed by Robi's Camera in Lakewood, Washington. Designed to showcase full page spreads,the SoHo album is has a contemporary flush-mount style. It is artistic, unique and unrivaled in presentation. This award-winning book uses seamless craftsmanship to create its distinctive style.
Coffee Table Style
The Coffee Table Album is beautiful with a full cover photo in a matte finish! The pages are heavy; they come in a matte, glossy or pearl finish. This is perfect for a baby album or a graduate portrait session! These albums are made by White House Custom Color. The covers are made with masonite for an exquisitely smooth and finished feel. The covers feature a photographic print that is laminated and adhered to the cover. Using liquid inks, the books are press printed with HP Indigo printing technology. The pages are printed on 110# hinged paper in semi-gloss or pearl. The hinged paper lets the pages to lay flat. Each album is artistically and custom designed by Erica Ann Photography and Fine Art to tell your unique story. Sizes vary from 5" x 5" to 12" x 12". Prices vary depending on album type and size.

Photographing people is my passion because you will never laugh, kiss, or even sneeze the same way twice. I do not only want to simply make a visual record of the day, but help you relive the emotions, beauty and truth in your life when you see the images.
My art begins with my camera. Some moments are so fleeting, I can't imagine holding those things in my mind long enough to get them down on a canvas. The goal of my fine art work is to first convey truth - and, second, to reveal beauty.
