Glamour Portrait Before and After

This beautiful bride to be contacted me to help her make a very special gift for her groom. She warned me that she had done a boudoir photoshoot before and had only liked one image from the whole shoot! So of course I was a little nervous… But once we got started I knew we’d get some good ones. :)

Mt Tabor Park Engagement

Mt tabor engagement session

For Kasie and Marc’s engagement, we strolled around Mt. Tabor Park. Its a special place they really enjoy together. I asked Marc how long they had been dating. (I like to be nosy) He said they’ve been together for less than a year, “But when you know, you know!” Yes! I definitely agree. I’m a really big advocate for tying the knot as soon as you both know you’ve found the right one. (after you know, you plan the wedding and stuff)

Portland Waterfront and Downtown Engagement

Portland Waterfront Engagement Session

Engagement sessions in the spring are just so appropriate, don’t you think? Everything is fresh and new and green and beautiful… I mean, its kind of like the perfect metaphor for this time in a relationship. Its definitely perfect for these two lovebirds. Chelsea and Sean just really couldn’t be any more adorable if they tried. I had so much fun getting to know them and see how much chemistry they have together.

Before and after glamour

With the help of my intern Kaia, I wanted to show you a little bit of behind the scenes action. While Julie Oliveros did her fabulous makeover, we talked about the outfits together and so I could decide how to arrange the furniture and what backdrops would look best in which outfits. Here is just a peak into some of my favorites and a few snapshots to show you how it was done!

Portland Surprise Engagement Proposal

Hank had this crazy idea to hop on a late night flight from New Jersey to Portland so he could surprise his girlfriend while she was training to become a barre instructor. She just thought she’d be here for a few days, hanging out with the girls and learning whatever it is barre instructors need to know. But she was so wrong!

Jenkin’s Estate and Cooper Mountain Engagement

Jenkins Estate Engagement Session Black and White

I shared a beautiful sunny afternoon with Luke and Sheila for their engagement session. We started at Jenkin’s Estate with a wine picnic (I don’t know if that’s a thing, but there was wine and a blanket so I’m calling it a wine picnic). Luke is a dance instructor and Sheila is a happy woman with gorgeous curls so you can imagine how tough that made my job! Luke had her twirling, dipping and up in the air. Meanwhile, Sheila had him blowing glitter and enduring red smooches all over his face.
