A Love for Wedding Photography
I love that I get to just wander around all day amongst happy, beautiful people. I love capturing the wide range of emotions from the bride, groom, their family and friends. My favorite part of the day is the hour or so that I get to spend with just the bride and groom - recording the powerful love that they share. I love seeing a moment that will only happen once and knowing that I captured it perfectly! I love that every wedding is at a different location, with different light and different people. I never get bored!
Fun Engagement Shoots
Engagement sessions are a great opportunity for me to get to know the couple better before the wedding and for them to get to know me. I think it gives the bride and groom an opportunity to get their camera jitters out and we can both see what works best. I also love having the flexibility and spontaneity of the engagement shoot - time, location, itinerary, etc. I like to center my engagement sessions around an activity or make them feel more like a date rather than a shoot. This helps me get the most natural interaction and emotions between the couple.
The Beauty of Fine Art
I love being able to take the best shot from a wedding and create something one-of-a-kind that will hang in my client's home. I believe that if my clients don't end up with something beautiful and tangible from their wedding then the photographer really missed the mark. I create canvas gallery wraps with hand painted details, mixed media encaustic pieces and hand painted portaits in acrylic and watercolor. I think that getting my hands dirty helps me stay fresh and see my work in a new light. It is my hope that every couple ends up with something special for their walls.
Custom Wedding Albums
My goal is to tell each love story in a clean and artful way. I design every album completely custom to reflect each couple's unique day and personalities. One beautiful photo is nice, but why not have a whole book full? I design each album with the couple's input and require their approval on the proof before it goes to print. I use two different album companies to print beautiful lay-flat albums that are either flush mounted or press printed.
Sensual Boudoir
A boudoir shoot is a chance for a woman to get dolled up and feel her best. This session can be a gift to yourself or your special someone. I do all of my boudoir shoots on location at a place that is special to you or reflects your unique style. Afterwards, you choose your favorite images and I create a 5" x 5" peekaboo album and any other art products that you'd like!
