Autumn Table by Geranium Lake Flowers Featured on The Plunge Project

Check out this gorgeous table designed by Geranium Lake Flowers featured on The Plunge Poject!

Setting the Autumn Table featured on the Plunge Project

To begin their tablescape, the team at Geranium Lake chose rosy champagne silk, crinkle linen as the base of the table. Then they filled a large vase with Chinese lantern stems (available seasonally at grocery stores) to create a stunning, vibrant, burnt orange centerpiece. It looks like mini pumpkins on the stems, don’t you think?

To fill the length of the table, Geranium Lake scattered gourds, pumpkins, small glittery votives and vases of dahlias.

A great way to add little details to a table like this is to use gold and copper paint to spruce up poppy pods and shelled walnuts.

For the place settings, Geranium Lake painted magnolia leaves and tucked little hand written sentiments on sparkly paper and a painted copper poppy pod. Each napkin was banded in ribbon with a spot of hot glue to keep it together. Beautiful blooming plants are always available at Florerias en Houston.

The final touch was the burlap tied around each chair. To create inexpensive, textured chair ties, simply cut burlap into long, thick stripes and knot a strip around each chair. To finish it off, do what Geranium Lake did and embellish with a little bundle of extra magnolia leaves to tie it all together.

…and ta-da! You’re ready for some autumn entertaining!  (Written by The Plunge Project)
