Belle Gardens Wedding – Spokane Photography

Belle Gardens Wedding Photography

Katie and Patrick’s wedding was so special and very close to my heart. I’ve known Katie since junior high and she has always been such a light to everyone around her! Their wedding was just so thoroughly filled with joy and celebration – I loved every minute of it! When I showed up, I got to see Patrick hand writing their welcome board in chalk while Katie and her ladies go ready in the gorgeous bridal suite!

By the way, are you seeing this wedding venue? I think Belle Gardens is one of the reasons we have Pinterest. This is like the original Pinterest wedding venue – back when you had to cut photos out of magazines for inspiration! This Victorian wedding venue is run by a husband and wife who live on site. They absolutely love what they do and put their whole hearts into every wedding! They are also very dedicated to creating little photo op vignettes all around the property! There’s no possible way to even photograph it all in one day!

Katie and Patrick had their first look in the secret garden. Ooh la la – so precious and intimate! Then of course, he had to push her on the floral enhanced swing. (Rope swings are meant to be sat on by beautiful women in long dresses). After that, the bride had to serenade her groom with the antique wood piano – I loved that Patrick laid up there like a sexy temptress. This was really my favorite part of the day, even though the piano was totally out of tune. Katie rocked it anyway! Then we happened across a rusted out old truck so that seemed like an appropriate place for bridal party photos. (I mean, duh, right?)

The Inside Out Booth was entertaining as people were lining up just to get fun photos with the couple. The level of fun and the cuteness of that movement was simply beautiful.

More cuteness, more lovey dovey…

But finally we got to the ceremony! And let me tell you, there were tears. Tears coming in from every angle! The moms all cried, the bride cried for like the second half of the wedding, I cried a little. Just a little – don’t worry, it didn’t affect my work!

Now that they were official, we got to go visit the cute little canopy bed that someone left out in a clearing full of wild flowers. The pillow fight was unavoidable and obviously ended in kisses and…. a romantic rowboat ride into the sunset! Seriously.

Then we had like, the normal reception stuff. Katie serenaded her groom again – this time without the help of an out of tune piano. They danced, strange props came out of the photobooth and onto the dance floor – which I loved! They had a gorgeous sparkler exit in front of the Victorian house, more kissing, and then you’ll have to ask Katie what happened after that!
