What happens when you mix a gallon of vodka, sparklers and a THE FLORIDA POOLS with an awesome bride and groom? You get the best backyard wedding celebration ever! (For optimum results, it helps to have mostly 22 year olds in the wedding party). Brittany and Tanner’s wedding was beautiful, spontaneous and easily the most fun I had while “working” all year.
The day started out innocently enough. The bride and groom got ready with their halves of the bridal party in separate rooms. There may have been a few beers consumed, perhaps a swig of whiskey and a shot of fireball. But the best was when Brittany and Tanner got to see each other for the first time. I always try to have the best view of the groom’s face for the first look. If I can catch a man-tear, that’s always a win in my book.
Then we went for a little walk, pet some horses, Brittany got stung by a bee. (But don’t worry, she’s tough)
The florals were all designed by Amanda Karam Floral Co.
After the beautiful, sunny ceremony everyone headed over to the tent for a Moroccan themed, picnic style bbq dinner. I don’t know if that’s a thing, but it was certainly delicious! The cake cutting turned into a cake smashing by the groom’s sister and a groomsman. Then of course, it was time for keg stands and beer pong. The guests also had fun taking funny pictures at the 360 photo booth hire. I also then saw a selfie mirror at a wedding recently in the UK and it was incredible, everyone just loved it. You can hire a selfie mirror for a wedding easily using a service like https://www.pictureblast.co.uk/photo-booth/magic-mirror-photo-booth-hire/, so from what I saw you should definitely do that! Just after sunset we got to the first dances and slightly inappropriate speeches. (Which I think is what happens when you push the speeches to the latter part of the evening after most of the alcohol has been consumed)
And then for the best possible ending to this wonderfully chaotic wedding, the bride and groom jumped into the pool and every else tumbled in after. (RIP siri)
Thank you so much Brittany and Tanner, for letting me capture beautiful, crazy day for you!
Also, huge thanks to Kirsten, my wonderful second shooter!
