Alex and Mary were married at the Hoyt Arboretum with the preparations and reception taking place at the Jupiter Hotel.  If you’ve never been to the Jupiter Hotel, you should definitely check it out. The Arboretum was beautiful, but a bit of a challenge with the sunshine speckling in through the trees. It was definitely a nice peaceful place with great ambiance, just a little hard to photograph. This wedding was one of whimsical details (yes, I said whimsical, but whatev). Handmade paper flowers and cranes adorned both the ceremony and reception site. The table center pieces were all unique vases, bowls and teacups filled with moss and other greenery. All of the details definitely made for a personalized wedding made just for Mary and Alex.

Mary designed personalized cuff links for Alex from antique maps. This one is Portland, where they were married, and the other one is of Durango, Colorado, where they met!

Mary sewed a pouch of coins to the inside of her dress that Alex's grandma wore on her wedding day.
