Um, yes please to more weddings at Skamania Lodge! Melisa and Sal got married on a clear and windy day in front of the  amazing view of the Gorge in Stevenson Washington. I know brides aren’t always thrilled about high winds on their wedding day, but we photographers love it. (Ok, well I shouldn’t speak for all photographers, but I love it). Really, what good is a veil if it just lays there lifeless? I want that thing dancing around in the breeze – Melisa’s veil did not disappoint!

Skamania Lodge just added some really awesome tree houses which is where they had their reception. They’re not really technically tree houses, but they are houses, and they’re up in the trees on stilts. Its a super intimate and romantic location. It was so perfect with all of the cafe lights strung up and tall trees all around.

Floral Designs by Alicia did all of the amazing flowers! I loved the wedding arch and of course Melisa’s bridal bouquet was amazing. Alicia always goes above and beyond, I loved getting to photograph her cute little boutonnieres and centerpieces.
