Engagement sessions in the spring are just so appropriate, don’t you think? Everything is fresh and new and green and beautiful… I mean, its kind of like the perfect metaphor for this time in a relationship. Its definitely perfect for these two lovebirds. Chelsea and Sean just really couldn’t be any more adorable if they tried. I had so much fun getting to know them and see how much chemistry they have together.

We had a cozy orange sunset, amazing old trees everywhere, stunning view of the mountains and an unbelievably huge harvest moon! I’m not that good. I didn’t know we’d be able to see all of the mountains and I definitely did not plan for the harvest moon. It just meant that Jacob and Anna had to put up with me for an extra few minutes while I found the perfect angle to get a romantic last shot of the evening. Thank you so much Anna and Jacob – I can’t wait for your wedding at the Newell House in Champoeg!
Portland Oregon Sunny Day Engagement Session Brick
Well, this was a hot one for sure! (In every sense of the word) We had to reschedule a few times because of the delightful rain, and when we finally got a sunny day it was 90 degrees! But Erika and Marty (and Dieter) didn’t let that hold us back from capturing all of the sweet little moments and gorgeous sprawling landscapes for their engagement session!
We started off at YU Contemporary in SE Portland and then ended at Erika’s family ranch in Oregon City. All of the furniture and props for this engagement shoot were provided by the wonderful people at Classic Vintage Rentals. I’m still in awe that we got such an amazing sunset!
Wow, what a fun and laid back wedding. My favorite kind. Leif and Kari celebrated with all of their closest friends and family. They had a gorgeous sunset and an awesome fire engine! The bride and groom will be receiving a 40 page 10×10 Canvas Cover album with watercolor textured pages. I’m so excited for them to see it!
