So, I’m still figuring what to call this genre of portraiture. In the past, I always used the term “boudoir photography” but I don’t think that’s really accurate for most of my clients. Maybe contemporary glamour or beauty photography? What do you think? Anyway, whatever you wanna call it, my goal is to make each woman look her best and know how beautiful she is. We all have our own beauty and allure, my job is to bring it out!
This month only – the January session fee is only $145! The session fee includes professional hair and makeup and an hour photoshoot with Erica at her downtown Portland studio.
I loved getting to photograph this beautiful woman. She has beautiful strong feature and as you can see – lovely curves. We did this glamour shoot as a birthday gift for her very lucky husband! I loved it because he actually came in with her to see the images as a surprise for his birthday. I will never, ever forget his reaction…. All he could say over and over was a quiet, “wow….wow….wow.” Best husband ever. 🙂
I photographed this gorgeous platinum blonde personal trainer a couple of months ago. Its so much fun to see a beautiful, athletic woman get all dolled up! She is definitely not a high heels, glitter and glam kind of girl most of the time, but WOWZA!
I had the extraordinary pleasure of photographing Angela Maitland – founder of Quintessential Productions and the Annual Diamond Tea. Angela contacted me a few months ago to see if I’d be interested in photographing the Diamond Tea this October at the Nines Hotel. I attended last year with my friend Dyana (Thanks Dyana!) so I was absolutely delighted that she wanted me to capture her gorgeous English High Tea! As an extra bonus, I get to be an exhibitor this year as well! I’m just a little bit excited. (Notice the exclamation marks)
This first black and white image was one of her favorites from our boudoir session. I’m so, so glad she called me and came in for a makeover and boudoir photoshoot! I know she was a little bit concerned about her curvy figure – but isn’t that what’s so great about being a woman?
