Alright – I’ve got some pretties here for you today!
I just shot this wedding inspiration with some fabulously talented Portland wedding vendors. We were inspired by the Victorian era and the Industrial Revolution. We wanted to embrace the excitement of change that was going on at that time, without leaving behind the romance and tradition. This inspiration is for a bride that is all about the lacy frills but maybe wants a little substance and history too.
My favorite detail was the refurbished, handpainted fireplace mantle. It was the perfect altar piece for our shoot! We chose our models, Carissa and Justin, because they are deeply in love and share an admiration for the quality and beauty of this era (and are happily planning their wedding!) Plus, aren’t they just sickeningly adorable?
