After hanging out at Tanner Spring’s park for a little while we had a bit of a downpour so we headed over to our second spot for ICE CREAM! What could be better than a little Salt N Straw deliciousness to help you forget the spring showers?

Men take note: It was just about half an hour before sunset on the Eastbank Esplanade. You really can’t beat the view of Portland from the east waterfront. I spend way too much time on the west side, so I didn’t realize how gorgeous the view of the downtown Portland skyline could be over the river!
If you’re thinking you might propose to that special someone soon, call me! I’m super sneaky and I’ve got long lenses. 🙂
Engagement sessions can be pretty awesome. I love getting to know each couple better before their wedding day and getting them behind my camera is the best way to do that! I help brainstorm with each couple to figure out a location and something to do that’s personal. The photos turn out so much more meaningful than if we had just gone to some random park. Plus, we get to choose the time of day, which isn’t always the case on your wedding. So, here is a collection of some of my favorite beautiful engagement photos from 2013.
Laughing Engagement Photos
If you’re wondering whether or not I would be a good fit for your wedding and engagement photos – I have one question for you: Do you like to laugh? I know, I’m sure there are 100 other questions The Knot and Martha Stewart would want you to consider, buut…. I think they’re trying way too hard. Life is too short for all of that stuff. Just grab your Love and enjoy life together.
I loved getting to hang out with Casey and Drew on one of our recent sunny afternoons to shoot their engagement session. They’re kind of ridiculously adorable. It was a really fun and laid back shoot because we just went around to all of Casey and Drew’s fun date spots in Portland. The Matador is their most beloved Portland restaurant and of course Salt and Straw is their favorite place for dessert! Mostly though, they’re just obviously head over heels for each other and a perfect match! I can’t wait for the wedding at Langdon Farms this summer!
