Proposals are seriously the best! And I have a great track record. So far, all YESES! (Is that how you spell that? Yes’s?) But before going on to the grand ceremony, it might be of great help to learn details like “will it rain on your wedding?”.

Andrew and Abigail are the absolute sweetest couple. They’re also about a foot apart in height (maybe more?) so that’s pretty cute. Andrew and I discussed it beforehand and he decided to pop the question up at Bald Peak. He scouted ahead of time, we chatted, sent photos and maps back and forth to make sure I’d be in the right spot. And then he actually dragged a picnic bench over for me so I could be up high and look over the bushes at them. There were some logistics for sure. And I love it because Abigail was actually standing on a bench while. There’s always so much planning that happens before a proposal. I have to be hiding somewhere with a good eyeline. Sometimes they walk right past me but she has no idea because I just look like a random girl with a camera.  And I usually can’t hear what they’re saying but I just zoom in real tight and get all of her facial expressions. Its pretty awesome. At some point she’ll spot me. Then we get to spend an hour or so walking around and getting their first moments as an engaged couple on camera.

As you can tell from the photos, they were both floating on cloud nine for awhile. It was pretty awesome. After we strolled around bald peak, we went down to the winery where Abigail works for sunset. Perfect.
