Cate and Brian are just the kind of couple that warm your heart. They’re both just so sweet and caring – I could not be more excited for a two people to join their lives together! Their wedding day started out on a crisp sunny day in January. Cate was more concerned with making sure all of her bridesmaids were comfortable and feeling beautiful than I think she was with herself. (Two of them were pregnant so that may have been a factor!) After their first look in front of the Cultural Center, we all headed over to Hoover Park (named after Herbert Hoover, he’s kind of a big deal in Newberg). Every man is in good suits and every single is wearing pretty dresses like this homecoming dress with long sleeves. We just caught the last rays of sun before their ceremony.
I cannot get over the look of sheer love and adoration on Cate’s face as she walked down their aisle to her soon to be husband. Seriously, make a girl cry! (Well, I was pregnant too, so that could have something to do with that). After their perfect ceremony, they caked, toasted and got down on the dance floor. I love that they had glowsticks during their exit – its a really fun alternative to the sparkler exit.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. I’m so happy for you two!!
And huge thank you to Kim O’Neil for helping me out while I was 8 months preggo!
