Here we go with one of those super awesome weddings again… The awesomeness of a wedding directly correlates to where you put your efforts for the big day. It doesn’t matter if you get married in a backyard, a big ballroom, or a gorgeous vineyard. If your focus is on celebrating your special day with family and friends, then its gonna be a great day! The moment Chelsea showed up to her bridal suite, she began pouring champagne for her bridesmaids and helping the flower girls get ready. Likewise, Sean was toasting his guys and telling him how glad he was to have them there with him. Chelsea and her dad shared a special moment, the tears started flowing as soon as he laid eyes on his beautiful daughter, all dressed in white.

We started by meandering around Champoeg Park. Amanda got to show me her awesome dance skills, she’s an instructor at Chehalem Valley Dance Academy. (Sidenote: In a couple of weeks I get to photograph the Nutcracker that she helped choreograph!) John got to practice jumping with masculine hands – I think we got that one nailed down, what do you think? Basically they just goofed around while I took photos.
By the way, are you seeing this wedding venue? I think Belle Gardens is one of the reasons we have Pinterest. This is like the original Pinterest wedding venue – back when you had to cut photos out of magazines for inspiration! This Victorian wedding venue is run by a husband and wife who live on site. They absolutely love what they do and put their whole hearts into every wedding! They are also very dedicated to creating little photo op vignettes all around the property! There’s no possible way to even photograph it all in one day!
I love it when I get to photograph adventurous couples who aren’t afraid of a little weather! Farrah and Matt wanted to go somewhere special and of course somewhere that would look good with that gorgeous aqua dress that she found online! So we made the two hour drive out to the Oregon Coast. It was a gorgeous drive, pure sunshine the whole way… oh, until about 2 minutes before we actually got to the beach. All of a sudden, the fog rolled in so thick, we literally could not see the ocean. We knew we were at the beach cause there was sand, but we pretty much had to get our feet wet before we could actually see the water.
Join us November 24th – 28th for our first annual GLAMATHON! We’ve had Christmas boudoir marathons in the past, but this is different. This is a glamathon. We’re not running some sort of race in our high heels and lingerie. No, we are taking our time to do beautiful makeovers and take full hour long photo sessions at my downtown Portland boudoir studio. As an added Christmas bonus, we’ll have some sparkle, bling and a little twinkle. But we won’t have you popping out of a Christmas present, don’t worry!
